Southern European native from the Apiaceae family, introduced to Australia. The plant is now categorised as an invasive, perennial herb that can grow up to three meters high. Fennel is considered to be a weed in Australia and is commonly found growing along railway tracks, industrial wastelands and unkempt coastal sites. The example used to create this design was found during autumn in an overgrown site at the edge of Port Phillip Bay, in the Melbourne suburb of Williamstown.
Spacecraft pillow cases are individually hand printed onto 100% Egyptian cotton using non-toxic inks. Our prints can easily be washed in a cold gentle machine. We trust and hope that spacecraft goods will be well used and for sure you’ll have more pressing things to do than fuss over a hand wash. It’s best not to bleach, soak or rub the print, or put it in the dryer.
